Learning Outcomes
-Apply the laws relating to builder's licensing and registration
-Applying WHS legislation and provisions on site
-Applying the codes, Act, regulations and standards relevant to construction
-Complying with insurance and regulatory requirements for housing construction
- Applying legislation to financial transactions
-Meeting building contract obligations
-Applying dispute resolution processes to building works
-Understanding the law in relation to the conservation of the environment
-Applying industrial relation policies and obligations relevant to housing construction
Course Objectives
This program will provide participants with a broad overview of legal and administrative requirements affecting the operation of a small building and construction business.
