My training balance looks incorrect.
First check:
- Recent training may not yet be updated
Important points to note:
- Annual cap is $3,000 (2026)
- This is a subsidy balance, not a cash amount
My application is submitted but I haven’t heard back.
CITB reviews your eligibility after submission. If approved, you will receive an email with a temporary password and instructions to log in. If delayed, check your spam or junk folder and confirm your submission was fully completed.
I selected the wrong job role. Can I change it?
If still in progress then update job role before submitting
If already submitted then contact CITB for correction
My licence upload failed or is missing. What should I do?
First check:
- That you have uploaded the correct file format
- That your document is clear and valid
If it is still failing:
- Attempt to re-upload during registration before submitting
If you have already submitted and it’s still failing:
- Contact CITB support
I can’t find my CITB number after registration.
First check:
- Your approval email, this will contain your CITB number
- Your FundHub profile, once you have logged in, you will be able to see your CITB number
You need a CITB number to:
- Access subsidised training
- Track course history and balance
I don’t see my training balance.
First check:
- That you are logged into your correct account
- That your registration has been fully approved
If you are still unable to see your training balance:
- Your account may still be under review
My profile details are incorrect.
Check your Profile section in FundHub first. If a field is editable, update it there. If the incorrect detail comes from CITB source records or is not editable in FundHub, contact CITB with your CITB number and the details that need correction.
I can’t see my course history. Why?
First check:
- That the course you are searching is a CITB funded course, as only CITB-funded courses will appear in FundHub
- The course has been marked as completed by the provider
If missing:
- The course may not be CITB-funded
- Completion may not have yet been recorded
My employer ABN doesn’t work.
Possible causes:
- Your employer is not registered with CITB
- The ABN has been entered incorrectly
How to resolve the issue:
- Confirm the ABN with your employer
- Ensure no spacing or typing errors
I can’t access subsidised training.
Check that you provided your CITB number when enrolling, the training provider is CITB endorsed, and the subsidy has been applied at enrolment. If the subsidy still has not been applied, contact the training provider first, then CITB if the issue cannot be resolved.
My employer isn't showing when I register with CITB
Confirm with your employer that they are registered with CITB and that you are using the correct ABN. Check for spacing or typing errors. If they are registered and still do not appear, contact CITB.
I can’t register as a construction worker. What’s wrong?
If you have previously registered with CITB in TALAS, you do not need to register again. If registering for the first time, check your employer ABN is correct, you have uploaded the required licence, ticket or registration documents, selected “Individual”, and chosen the correct employment option. Common issues include an employer not registered with CITB, an incorrect job role, or a missing licence upload.
