How much will the training cost me?
The CITB’s tradie2trainer program covers the subsidised training fee for the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment qualification. This means that successful applicants receive training at no cost to them.
Am I eligible for tradie2trainer?
Those eligible to participate are working in or previously worked in the South Australian building and construction industry, and include the following:
- Australian citizens or permanent residentsÂ
- Self-employed tradies or contractorsÂ
- Injured workers seeking a pathway to return to workÂ
- Experienced tradies looking to get off the toolsÂ
- Industry engaged path to retirement Â
Additionally, you will have an approved CITB number (or be in the process of renewing).Â
How do I apply for tradie2trainer?
If recruitment is currently underway, register for an information session to learn about tradie2trainer and ask questions, then submit an online application with your cover letter, resume, qualification or trade papers, and (if current) your Working With Children Check.
