Reconciliation Action Plan

Reconciliation Action Plan Reconciliation Action Plan

Our RAP

CITB is committed to Reconciliation Australia’s leadership in reconciliation, starting our journey with a Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) which will include and guide us in the steps required to prepare our organisation for reconciliation initiatives now, and in future RAPs.

We have a workplace culture that believes strongly in inclusivity and diversity aimed at fostering an environment that recognises and respects First Nations Peoples, knowledge and cultures, contributing towards progressing reconciliation in South Australia.

Our RAP Artwork

Artwork by Elizabeth Close (Pitjantjatjara, Yankunytjatjara)

This Artwork speaks to CITB’s reconciliation journey through the use of the stylised lines.

The circles and Journey line, informed by their ongoing commitment to growth and learning in this space. It also uses topographical imagery within the Journey line that speaks to both Acknowledging Country and Growth.

The vibrant palette speaks to the elements of both earth and water to Acknowledge Country. It uses stylised meeting places to speak to sitting together, listening and learning. The lines of dots are informed by CITB’s commitment to supporting Community and the clusters of dots speak to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community itself.

The Kangaroo tracks symbolise CITB’s ongoing learning in this space and it’s deep, genuine and meaningful commitment in this space.
