General Awareness
This course is non-accredited. Completion does not result in a unit of competency being attained.
Competency Standard
This course is non-accredited and does not result in a Nationally Accredited Unit of Competency. Participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
Prerequisites
Relevant construction industry experience.
Learning Outcomes
This non-accredited course is for students who want to obtain a Building Work Supervisor's Licence as a general builder for residential construction work up to three-storeys.
Course Objectives
1. Accessing and interpreting the National Construction Code and relevant Australian Standards
2. Analysing and applying a range of solutions to a construction problems for compliance with the Building Code of Australia
3. Applying fire protection requirements
