Learning Outcomes
1. Performance tasks - The assessor must observe the following performance tasks:
- Perform CPR on an infant.
2. Practical scenarios - The assessor must observe the following practical scenario:
- Perform CPR on an adult.
3. Theory assessment - A written assessment consisting of multiple-choice questions. The student must successfully complete all assessment questions.
Course Objectives
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.
