MSMPER205 Enter confined space AND MSMPER200 Work in accordance with an issued permit OR RIIWHS202E - Enter and work in confined spaces AND MSMWHS216 Operate breathing apparatus AND MSMWHS217 Gas test atmospheres

Prerequisites

Basic English, Must be 18 years of age or over

Learning Outcomes

1 Assess confined space for entry

2 Use safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE)

3 Work in accordance with confined space requirements

4 Conclude confined space operations in accordance with procedures

Course Objectives

This unit of competency is required by persons who are required to enter a confined space, as defined by the Australian Standard AS 2865-2009 Confined spaces, or its authorised update or replacement.
