Learning Outcomes

ISO 45001:2018 helps an organisation to achieve the intended outcomes of its OH&S management system. Consistent with the organisation's OH&S policy, the intended outcomes of an OH&S management system include:
a) Continual improvement of OH&S performance;
b) Fulfillment of legal requirements an other requirements;
c) Achievement of OH&S objectives.

Course Objectives

ISO 45001:2018 will replace ISO 18001 which will be phased out over the next 3 years. It is also anticipated that at some stage ISO 45001 will be adopted in lieu of AS/NZS 4801.
ISO 45001:2018 specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system, and gives guidance for its use, to enable organisations to provide safe and healthy workplaces by preventing work-related injury and ill health, as well as by proactively improving its OH&S performance.
