Learning Outcomes

1. Understand how to apply the law and its interpretation to control access to and ensure safe and legal entry

2. Gain strategies that will help minimise the occurrence and severity of potential disputes and disruptions to productivity

3. Develop a greater understanding of IR legal framework and how it applies within the organisation's Right to Entry procedures

4. Practice dealing with and responding to varied entry queries

5. Use relevant industry resources to identify and check the validity of entry permits and any conditions that may be imposed on them

6. Find out where to go for support and further IR advice

Course Objectives

Having a sound working knowledge of the rights, responsibilities and obligations of all parties seeking entry onto a commercial construction site can lead to productivity gains and a more effective working environment.
